What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing normally worn for the day and
enclosed shoes (eg. joggers). Preferably shoes without large buckles,
studs, or hooks. The Darwin climate is pretty warm all year round.
However, during the dry season (April to September) you may need
some extra warmth and we have jump suits for you if preferred.
Are there weight or age limits?
Unfortunately, a maximum weight limit of 105 kg applies.
Minimum age is 14 years and persons under 18 years
must have parental or guardian consent.
What are the physical or health restrictions?
If you think you may not be able to tandem skydive
due to something you feel could be a restriction, please do give
us a call to discuss it. The sky is the limit, just be sure to discuss
your situation with us first.
Where do I meet the plane? Where do we land?
We now meet at the General Aviation Waiting Room,
Corner of Slade Court and Murphy Drive
Darwin Airport
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
We land at Lee Point Beach, which is approximately 8kms from Darwin Airport.

How do I get to the airport and back home?
If transport is a problem we can organise to pick
you up and drop you off after your jump. Please bear in mind there
may be other jumpers and we cannot always drop you home immediately (but we will do our best).
What about my family and friends?
Your family and friends are most welcome to see you
off at the airport and greet you again at Lee Point. A popular activity for onlookers while waiting for you to reach your designated height is to write messages in the sand. The biggest one thus far was sighted from 3000 feet in the air!
Please do keep in mind that transport provided is
a service for those doing the tandem jump. Should you have a large
number of spectators and little transport there are several relatively
cheap shuttle services available in the Territory.
How long is the freefall?
Your freefall time depends on the height you choose
to skydive from and can last approximately:
25 seconds from 8000 feet
35 seconds from 10 000 feet
45 seconds from 12 000 feet
What happens when I don’t jump at my arranged
time?
Unfortunately this can happen due to weather restrictions
or air traffic control. We generally allow 2 hours between loads,
especially during the wet season. We will always do our best to
have you up and flying at the correct time, but sometimes things
are just out of our control. We only ask that you bear with us,
as it frustrates us just as much you.
If we do cancel due to bad weather we will reschedule
at the earliest convenience.
What happens after the jump?
After your tandem jump you will be presented with
a certificate of achievement. We will drive you back to the airport,
unless other arrangements have been made. If you have had a video
handy cam we will post to you the next day.
Lee Point has grassed picnic areas with bbq’s
and toilet/shower facilities should you and your friends wish to
spend the rest of the day chilling out! Sunsets and a bottle of
bubbly to celebrate are also quite nice on the beach…
